Join us in the joy of serving and being good stewards of the campus the Lord has provided for us at our next church workday on Sat. Oct. 7 from 9:00-11:00am. There are a variety of tasks to do that morning, many are indoors. Families are welcome to bring children to help.

Here is a list of tasks identified by our deacons:

Clean bird’s nest from 2nd level south entry at Life Center (broom)
Clean bird’s nest from window in Worship Center mezzanine (leaf blower)
Clean classroom white boards
Replace stained ceiling tiles in Life Center hallway and adjacent Room 202
Construct PVC Sch40 drain for HVAC condensate pan in Life Center
Spot clean stains from chairs in classrooms
Spot clean stains from chairs in sanctuary and straighten rows
Spot clean stains from sanctuary floors
Replace allen head bolt in armrest of wheel chair located in closet adjacent to Gathering Room
Pull weeds from landscape area adjacent to northeast corner of Worship Center
Clean chairs, cushions and tables on patio
Repair interior light switch on column at southeast corner of sanctuary (might take some skill)
Sweep Worship Center mezzanine floor
Spot clean kick marks on Worship Center walls and base boards
Remove tape residue adjacent to some of the room signs in Worship Center hallway
Do minor spackling at paint chips in Worship Center hallway
Adjust exit door on east side of Worship Center (takes a little skill)
Disinfect toys in all children’s rooms
Fix or dispose of basketball goal
Trim the tree branches that overhang the sidewalks
Spot clean stains by east door of worship center, power washing would be ideal but might be too involved
Remove weeds from pump house area (well storage tank area is overrun), spray for weeds
Remove weeds on north end of Life Center in stair-step flower beds
Remove weeds in flower bed along walkway between two buildings
Remove dead plants (and replant?) in bed at lower entrance of Life Center
Remove brush pile near south end of Life Center driveway
Re-dig blocked drainage under Life Center driveway
Remove branch pile by dumpster by taking to Kendall County brush site or placing in dumpster (about 1 pickup load)
