The teen years are challenging and tough for parents and youth. Our culture is determined to undermine the positive parental influence and subvert the new generation's ideals. What tweens and teens need is a distinctly Christian worldview that will equip them in living for God's glory.
Strengthening youth through solid biblical teaching and encouraging fellowship is a vital role of the church. We desire to come alongside parents, not replace them. We desire to support parents, not supplant them. Youth Group is a place where teens develop a Christian worldview and learn important biblical truth and critical thinking skills.
We accomplish this vision through Christian Ed classes on Sundays, D-Group Bible studies, service opportunities, and fun activities. The Trinity Youth Group is a place for teens to grow spiritually into Christ-followers.
Youth Christian Ed Classes - Summer 2021
Youth (6th - 12th grades) meet Sundays at 9:00 am for Christian Ed classes in Classroom 6 and 8. Our desire is to help students to grow strong in their understanding of who God is and His word and also be able to live out their faith.
Our Summer class will focus on Sanctification. Growing in holiness and being transformed more and more into the image of Christ are central to the Christian life. But how can we grow in holiness? What role does the gospel play? How do we become who we are made to be in Christ? These are questions we will work through as we study God’s sanctifying work in our lives.
D-groups meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 pm. A d-group is simply a small group geared toward discipleship. In our d-groups, we will engage God's word more deeply through discussion and building relationships that will lead to further growth in Christ. We meet in Classroom 8. Contact Luke Rodgers if you have any questions or if you are interested in leading this ministry.
Monthly, our youth gather for fun events to strengthen friendships or to serve in our community. Check our Events page for upcoming events.
Youth Summer Conference
Each summer our High School students attend a conference with RYM (Reformed Youth Ministries). The days are filled with elective classes in the morning, free time in the afternoon, and worship in the evening. This week is a significant opportunity for our youth to be challenged in their faith while growing in community together.
Contact Kevin Witten, Associate Pastor, if you have any questions.
