There's a recent book you probably never heard of called Biblical Critical Theory by Christopher Watkin. It is a book that encourages us to see life through the lens of the Bible as the truth of Scripture critiques everything. The book makes a significant contribution toward helping free us from the polarization and politicization of everything. You do not need to buy or read the book beforehand to participate (it is over 600 pages!). Pastor Allen will summarize the book and we'll discuss all that is controversial, good and beautiful in our world as we relate the conversation to our cultural moment and calling to glorify God and love our neighbors.
